We are in the final weeks of the month of July, first month of the second quarter of the year. It is the perfect time for a check in; What has been working? What has not been working? What do you need to celebrate? What do you need to change? As I began reflecting on the second quarter this year, a friend commented "this is actually the first day of the last 6 months of a decade." This idea kind of blew my
She"s right, we have only 6 months left in the 2019s. Since I heard this I've been pondering the decades of my life. They divide up rather neatly.
So here we are. It is the last 6 months of 2019. The next decade is the 2020s. What will be the definition of this decade for me. It is both exciting and a little scary to know this decade will be up to me to create. I think I know where I want it to go. As I grow my coaching practice I have come to appreciate the idea of coaching as a culture; a way of being in the world. What does it look like to live a coaching culture? in my family? in my business? in my job? in the Church? This is the question I will be exploring over the next few weeks and ultimately the rest of this year.
As you look at the the next 6 months and ponder the end of the decade and the beginning of another, how do you want to define it? What questions will you ask? What goals will you name and action steps will you implement? I would love to come alongside you and ask the questions that will help you discover your own answers.
If these questions excite and inspire you, or even if they challenge and scare you, let me know. I'm looking for a small group of folks who would like to work together to finish strong in this last part of the decade. Send me a note and we can talk details.
Let's get together and start 2020 with clarity, a vision, and a plan.
Because You Are Worth It!
